FLOORING
Our floor design allows for ventilation and drainage beneath your shed, guaranteeing the longevity of your floor. We start with 2" thick concrete stones and 4"x4" pressure-treated "skids." Without changing the grade of your property, we use these stones and skids to level the floor, (up to 4" at no charge). The 2"x4" floor joists are nailed to the runners at 16" o/c and we then apply 3/4", T&G, exterior plywood. For sites that are more than 4" out of level, call for a quote.
FRAMING/SIDING
The California Customs are constructed with 2" x 4" wall framing, 24" o/c. The siding is a twenty-five year, 5/8", 8" o/c, T1-11 plywood select or better grade.
WARRANTY
All California Customs include a 5 year warranty, covering materials and workmanship, in addition to the individual materials warranties offered by manufacturers.

*We recommend that you prime and paint your shed to properly seal and protect it from weathering. One coat of paint will cover, but not adequately seal your siding. Properties of the siding may show through a single coat of paint soon after construction, requiring that you paint your building again. Re-rolling after installation will be a minimum $100.00 charge, plus paint. Should you wish to supply us with paint to match our home, we will provide you with a quote. We will only accept latex-based paints in 2 tones- one for the body and one for the trim. You are responsible for ensuring that your paint is delivered to our location at least 4 days prior to scheduled delivery date.
