The Classic Series is an excellent-quality, wooden, production building, serving as an alternative to the more expensive custom series. This building maintains the same 2x4 framing as the customs and has a 1/2", 30-year, "Truewood" siding. "Truewood" siding is resistant to mildew and pests and it's density reduces warping that is common to other 1/2" thick sidings. This building comes in 2 basic roof models with varying side wall and peak heights, in floor sizes ranging from 6x6 to 10x16. All models come standard with double doors and a metal threshold at the entry. The 8' wide, standard barns have 54" wide, double doors. All others have standard 48" wide, double doors. All models include foundation materials beneath the floor so that no wood touches the ground. We use rows of 2" thick concrete stones and pressure treated 2x4 skids to level the floor and provide needed air circulation and drainage beneath the shed. (2 rows on 6' and 8' wide gables and 3 rows on 10' wide gables.) The roofs are constructed with pre-assembled, metal press-plated trusses, 1/2" OSB sheathing, 15# felt paper and 20-yr composition shingles.

The Classic Barns come in 8' and 10' gable widths. The standard barn has a 4' tall sidewall. Peak Heights range from 8' to 12'. Doors and optional window are restricted to the gable end on the standard barn.

The gable-style, Classic House is available in 6', 8' and 10' widths. These buildings have a standard 6' tall side wall or taller 8' side wall. The Classic House has the doors on the gable end, centered or on the side wall, offset 2' from the left or right corner on 10'-16' long buildings. The are centered on the 6' and 8' long side walls.

Kits are available in the 8' wide standard barns and the 8' wide cottage and carriage (standard height). Parts are pre-cut and numbered with trusses and doors pre-assembled. Our user-friendly assembly instructions make this kit an easy project for most do-it-yourself customers. Roofing felt and shingles, as well as foundation materials beneath floor must be purchased separately and are not included in the kit.

WARRANTY
All of the "CLASSICS" include a five year warranty, covering materials and workmanship, in addition to the individual material's warranties, provided the customer adheres to requirements for standard maintenance.
